Pratt has a thorough Quality Assurance program, which requires documentation and design review, a code review and extensive testing.  We worked closely with the functional analysts to ensure that all of the business requirements were satisfactorily met. I also ensured that all of my code was efficient and met all of the standards established by Pratt.

    Developed the SD engine escalation price condition.  Pricing for new engines is determined by the price letter referenced in the contract (sometimes including a fringe factor), as well as an escalation rate based upon a formula from that price letter in combination with SIC (Standard Industry Code) labor, energy, material, and industrial commodity rates published monthly by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor.  A sample of this work, including the scope of the technical details, the pricing routing and the resulting screen output, is available upon request.

During the first three months I was a member of a 40+-person team of technical analysts writing detailed technical specifications and testing scenarios.   I worked with the MM & FI teams developing enhancement specifications.  The subsequent time was spent as one of five developers charged with implementing these technical specifications. I was the primary analysts and developer on the following projects:
 
·         Fastener Quality Act - Dialog program and SAP enhancement to provide conformance system in accordance with the Fastener Quality Act, Public Law 105-234.
 
·         Socioeconomic Solicitation Award Code - Dialog program and SAP enhancement to link the  Small Business Subcontracting information required by the Federal Government into contracts, purchase orders, and scheduling agreements.
 
·         Retired Asset Reporting – 10 year Retired Asset Report.
 
·         Product Hierarchy Modifications – Established a 7 tier product hierarchy
 
·         Restrict Auto PO Release – Clone of ME59 specifically tailored to apply specific restrict conditions and new purchase order creation conditions.
 
·         Resource Related Billing – Preview Reports - Allowed the billing analyst to make changes to the simulations viewed.

·         Feed Ingredients Purchasing System for maintaining corporate pricing of grains - Weekly grain receipts are combined with materials on-hand at each mill in accordance with a Pilgrim's algorithm for setting a new standard price for the grains at each mill for the next week.
 
·         Integration of Pilgrim's Feed Formulation system with SAP - The existing PC feed formulation program was interfaced through a remote function call to the IDoc/EDI interface providing BOM and the material/plant production version maintenance.
 
·         Integration of Pilgrim's Feed Delivery system with SAP - The existing PC feed delivery system is interfaced through a remote function call to the IDoc/EDI interface. Processing of the IDoc maintains the goods issue to production orders and the picked quantities (delivery) for outside sales. I developed drill down functionality to examine IDoc exceptions correct and reprocess.

    EDI Rail Car Grain Receipts integration with SAP - Rail Carrier 410&417 transaction sets are received via the IDoc interface. Various processing steps manage the incoming cars and scanned car inventory goods receipts.

CSI, a turnkey systems provider, was a source for database design, application development, education classes, database administration, technical writing, systems design, and project management, all aspects of customer systems support. CSI provided support services in UNIX, Informix, SYMIX, MCBA and IBM MAPICS.  CSI was a BMC software Preferred Partner providing BMC Patrol software to monitor and manage system environments.  I was the Project Manager and technical lead for all of CSI’s implementations.
